Okay, many hurtles with Senior Project but I'm pushing onward. I tell myself that as long as continue working hard and at a good pace, it'll naturally come together. Is my mantra working yet?

So my midterm animation is done (well not perfect but I won't have to look at it anymore if I don't want to) and I've posted it on youtube until I get my acceptance from DeviantArt's little film "club" or whatever. No audio and I used rigs for the animation.

Ah, so our Flash for Animator's midterm consists of a 15 second short minimum. I've made myself a goal to give my all. No more doing "just enough for the assignment to be checked off" because I want to start putting myself out there. The point of this homework was to learn how to use a "camera" in Flash. So there isn't really any emphasis on animation here, just the camera and fades. Forgive the messy bgs- but even they took some time to make.

Not so proud of my animations this week so I'm only posting 2 out of 5. This time it was to play with masks and shape tween as well as motion guides. I'm having a little trouble with those handles for the shape tweens- what are they called again? And having the image follow the motion guide the way I want...

Here's the other 4 for my Flash for Animators class this week. I like the spaceships and the mouse. I kind of got lazy with the duck that has no feet and just seemingly flies up to the screen. -_-; And the mouse roll is a little iffy.

Ah, so now I have five for last week completed...Just 5 more to go... (sobs) I got one so far- this time the goal is to use tweens and symbols. Same ole' penguin from photoshop.

I misunderstood the last homework where he didn't want 5 animated things in one Flash file, but 5 separate animations and files, so here here! No tweens or symbols. Just frame by frame and onion skin.

I made the penguin in Photoshop and brought it in as keyframes before making them symbols.

Our first assignment for Flash for Animators. To use the timeline and animate 5 leaves falling without using symbols and tweens. You could tell which leaves I used the mouse and which ones I used the tablet. Woopee! Now onto my penguin ninja project muahahaha!
